Best Practice for remote support??
Hello. I am making use of SC that I configured for providing remote support, and currently, I have a link set up on my website that takes a customer to my Paypal account where they make a payment for the first 60 minutes of my remote support, upon which time, I would email them the remote.exe file ...

I'm pretty certain I have done that, as referenced in the photo I have linked to below, assuming the link works.

Hello. I'm trying to get things configured so I can get SC to work, but, I want to get everything working first, so I know if I have problems where the problem lies where to start. Re: Cannot connect with hostname CAN connect with IP address
Can you ping the other machine by host name? By IP address? When you say host name, are you using a fully qualified DNS name or the NetBIOS host name of the machine? If the former, are those fully qualified DNS names resolvable on your internal network? Can you telnet to the other machine on port ...

Re: Can't interact with host
No help with this problem from anybody???
There must be an answer to this situation other than reinstalling the OS. I'd appreciate any other suggestions. This is the first time I have had such problems with UVNC.
Thanks!

Re: Can't interact with host
I tried the above steps to reset TCP/IP and it did not work.
I also tried to uninstall and reinstall Ultra VNC, and I am having the same problem.
I tried to use Logmein.com and it functions fine, but, I really like Ultra VNC much better.
Very confused by this.
Anything else I can try?
Thanks.

Slow to respond
Whenever I run viewer from within my home network, the password window takes about 15 seconds to pop up. Whenever I access one of my PC's from the outside over the internet, the password window pops up instantly. I know this is petty, but, it did not used to work this way. It was fairly instant both ...
