@mvandere2: Try the virtual monitor driver, when the lid close the monitor is disconnected and VNC doesn't have a screen to clone.

-kill fixed: It wasn't working at all it didn't closed anything nor did it show the Messagebox.

The initial request was to add a confirmation at UltraVNC Server closing from systray...
But naturally, this should not have been implemented for the -kill.

It so wierd that you try different viewers because the server can't capture it...

The service poll the desktop to see if the logon changed and the desktop part require a restart.
But this should use a lot of cpu,
The desktop part also monitor the systray, to show the systray icon when available. ( this is done every 5 seconds)

Prisma : The repeater has no option for it.
Tested with port 0 but then is just start it on a high port.
I have made a special build, set port to 0 and webio is not started.

Then you still can set your settings once using port 80 and set it to 0 to ...

Settings are saved in the %appdata%\UltraVNC folder on the viewer PC.
This allow to have different connection for each pc tou connect to
LOCALHOST-5900.vnc
MYREMOTEPC-5901.vnc

Open the viewer, just add some fake servername, goto options and uncheck copyrect and save
Then you will find an extra file ...

@Ivanhoe: UltraVNC SC 1.6.2.0-dev: Default settings to ask password has been changed and UltraVNC Viewer listenport is used.

Still in the ultravnc.ini file.

The default location of this file has changed to %ProgramData% but there is a fallback system.

If you open the About window, the config file location is indicated.
