While uvnc is in full-screen mode and I control the local keyboard I want to be able to switch (with Alt-Tab or Windows key) to another window. I guess you are saying UltraVNC must be started as a service and cannot be started by 'double clicking' on it.

I have now installed it as a service and it works fine.
