The x64 .exe of 1.1.8 downloads as 0 bytes. I've tried to download it from both Firefox and Chrome, but it just saves a 0 byte UltraVNC_1_1_8_X64_Setup.exe file. The x64 add-on version does download.
Can you re-upload the x64 installer?

looks like I spoke too soon about RealVNC, it refuses to refresh the screen, forced to disconnect and reconnect. Did not have that issue with uVNC fortunately.

It's also starting to give some random disconnects unrelated to kb/m inputs. I've tried RealVNC server, and it doesn't have any of the keyboard or disconnect issues, but it does seem much slower than uVNC 1.1.* with Win8. Obviously neither are quite as fast as RDP, but I'd prefer not to have to deal ...

I'm having the same keyboard issue in Windows 8 with 1.1.1.0 uVNC. It sometimes locks up on mouse clicks as well, but it's generally just randomly accepting or not accepting keyboard input.
