Hey Redge, I appreciate the link to help show how to encrypt over http/use the DSM plugin. I was hoping to learn a little more on exactly how to use this: http://sc.uvnc.com/javaviewer/index.html Would I be loading on the CGI script onto my own server? Or just using that page to log in. I downloaded ...

Hmm, did some searching and didn't see anything. I guess I'll just have to carry the stand-alone viewer with my key on a flash drive. I was hoping for a little security from the http access though. Anyone know if there is a way other than by using ssh and forwarding ports? Or that may be the only ...

I tried to turn off both Windows Firewalls on each machine. I use Norton's so I first customized to allow the ports to work, I then disabled them as well and still the same. The login screen comes up extremely fast and it always seems to connect quickly, the issue is that the communication between ...

Using the SpeakEasy.net/speedtest I can achieve Download Speed: 9303 kbps (1162.9 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 1612 kbps (201.5 KB/sec transfer rate) The speeds should not be an issue since I've run it from much slower connections in the past. Can the Netgear router be slowing it down for ...
