Currently the help seeking user needs admin rights to start the sc.exe . Reasonable admins won't give this credentials to their users even in small businesses. Alternatives like SCPrompt or ChunkVNC have the same problem. A way around this is to stay completely in userland. No installation and no ...

Admin rights still needed?

... by editing the scprompt.ini ... To Look like this:
UseSC_Server=0
ServiceMode=0
Even with this setting the customer still needs admin rights for the UAC dialog popping up after starting scprompt.exe.

Is there a way that the end customer doesn't get an UAC prompt?
