Single Click Viewer to VNC server (not SC)

Since you already have SC which allows a VNC server to single click to a listening viewer, how can I set up a Single Click Viewer which would connect to a server? I am looking for a method where I could send out a VNC viewer that a user only needs to click on in order to view my demo server.

How do I successfully setup UltraVNC for Chat to work? I am successfully able to connect to various different VNC servers (based on IP protocols) behind NAT routers, with the IP protocols port-forwarded. However, whenever I start Chat, the text is not sent to the other chat window (on server.) Is ...

Has anyone else encountered problems with CA's Pest Patrol (stand-alone or Integrated Threat Management system) and UltraVNC. Pest Patrol has a Pest Exclusion list which seems to only "exclude" files, not registry settings. Summary: 1) Install and configure UltraVNC (1.01 or 1.02) and Mirror Driver ...

If you tried my previous suggestion then I do not know what next to suggest? I know that some ISP offer an "opt-in" packet filtering (like mine.) This is a "firewall" service with spware protection. Check with your ISP.

You only need to know the IP address of the VNC server you wish to connect to. Since you want to work off your office PC, you only need to know the static IP address your office connection. Try using a different IP port under 1024. ISP that use packet filtering might be trying to stop P2P file sharing (ie: Kaaza).

IP Ports do not normally have speed ratings for each individual IP port. 5900 is the default port and it will take the speed of the Internet access.

However, do to the P2P craze, a lot of ISP may be limiting the bandwidth (speed and/or access) to the IP ports above 1024.

NO! Every server installation is set to use the default port of 5900. If you have multiple servers installed on various PCs on your "home" network, then each server will be using IP port 5900.

Besides, the router would have PORT-FORWARDING rules which would only re-direct to one PC.

You can on have the standard IP port of 5900 routed to one IP address. You need to reconfigure the UltraVNC servers, and the router, so as to use different IP ports for the other PCs. Example: Wife's PC -- IP 5900 ---> 192.168.1.100 Daughter's PC -- IP 5901 ---> 192.168.1.101 Your PC -- IP 5902 ...

It would be nice if you were to tell us WHAT your boss installed on the PCs? If he installed UltraVNC Server, this is not a "logging" program. UltraVNC Server is a "remote" access control program where a VNC Viewer can access the Server from a different PC.

I've noticed this too! The DSM plug-in "appear" to get installed into their own separate folder. The VNC Server is looking for the plug-ins in the same folder where the "winvnc.exe" is located. So copy the plug-ins from "C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\plugin" to "C:\Program Files\UltraVNC" folder.
