Window Dimension Problem
I'm using UltraVNC v1.0.2. After the session, the PC on which the UltraVNC server is running loses all its window dimensions. For example, the browser no longer nicely fits "inside" the desktop area and overlaps with the MS office toolbar (on the right) and the taskbar below. Why does this happen ...

Re: Reverse HTTP Starter
Let me know if there are any new features you'd like to see in RHS. I've been using it for quite some time now and it's great.

A little note on those with proxy server issues. Because of the many different implementations of this, I did not include it as part of RHS. However, you can solve this problem as follows. If you find that Reverse HTTP Starter is unable to connect to the Internet (port 80) because you are behind a ...

yeah set up an ftpd they have small footprint they're fast and you can even browse with just windows explorer. if you're looking for one filezilla server is freeware and has just a 1.1mb memory footprint. I used this FTP solution with other versions of VNC like, 'TightVNC' because they didn't have ...

Slow File Transfer
Why is the file transfer function in UltraVNC so achingly slow? Especially for larger files.

Sluggish Text Transfer
Why is entering text to another computer (e.g. notepad or Nero) via UltraVNC so sluggish? When I hit the 'backspace' key to erase a few characters or replace them, it doesn't show up until I click something else. Clicking graphical buttons to execute commands is fine. What's wrong with text? Is it ...

System Tray Tooltips Missing
Why doesn't Ultra VNC show the system tray tooltips? I connect to a computer that runs some P2P applications and placing the mouse pointer over the system tray icon lets you see what speed it is transferring at. It used to work with the other versions of VNC but why not UltraVNC? Are the system tray ...

Re: VNC with Proxy
I use UltraVNC as an application on my customer sites. No install, just run winvnc.exe from the directory. I use reverse connect for all sites. Works like a charm. It does not however work when they are using a proxy to get out onto the internet. Is there a way around this? or something I can do ...

Reverse HTTP Starter
Here is a program that works well with any version of VNC. It solves the problem of initiating a reverse connection from a work computer that is behind a firewall and proxy server. The information below is taken from the website. http://www.m-azlan.com/software/rhs/rhsmain.jpg Detailed description ...

The problem is the proxy. I cannot use the server with a reverse connect on any of my clients running a proxy server. There is no direct connection to the internet. If someone knows how to get this to work without having any control over the proxy settings let me know! Bypass it using the SSH port ...

Hello folks. i like VNC an know it for more than 4 years now. Today i have seen UltraVNCSC (SingleClick) and the option to use a Repeater. Great but there is one important ting missing. I'm normally behind a real firewall (not only a NAT Router) and the system i want to control is also behint a ...
