I guess that means that "TEST19 installer-test online" (http://forum.ultravnc.net/viewforum.php?f=2)
Doesn't include the latest MS logon. What would you need to do to get MS Logon working with that?

This is great! What is the road map for this? I see it as an add-on to the core UltraVNC. Some things that would be great would be a Java that could be initialized from a web page and connect to a repeater... Then again I bet that would not be a trivial task. What abou the ability to dynamicallu ...

Re: Unable to connect to WAN IP
Hi, I am testing the VNC via a loopback. My machine IP is, for example 2.2.2.2 and my WAN IP is for example 333.333.333.333 Now I can connect via the LAN IP of 2.2.2.2 but I cannot connect via the WAN IP of 333.333.333.333 I get the error message "Failed to connect to server!" UltraVnc is the best! it really is - Just one thing would make it better.. Some of the teachers are local ...

Perhaps I am still a little confused but this is what I have done based on the responses. I started the UltraVNC Server in service-mode on each of my 3 client machines: clientmachine1 192.168.0.10 clientmachine2 192.168.0.11 clientmachine3 192.168.0.12 I note that in the properties of each of the ...

Then "Reverse connection initiation" would be god send. So... A person goes to (remote)server, clics server icon and chooses "Initiate connection" and types your IP. Server will open connection bethween the client and the server (your clien must be at public IP or so, naturally) . Littlebit the ...

But there was no authentification and authorisation mechanism in stunnel. There is a powerfull implementation for this with PGP-keys in zebedee. Re: Ultravnc with a Zebedee Plugin
I would suggest stunnel, as this will already run as a service. It is a open source, and IMHO has better long term support possuibilities. Zebedee as I recall is maintained by one person, p.s. Zebedee Stable Version: 2.4.1 (2002/05/29) Development Version: 2.5.2 (2003/09/23) Stunnel Recent Updates ...

It is encrypted, but it is trivial to break the encryption. If I remember correctly Ettercap breaks it on the fly.pjme7154 wrote:Just wondering, when I type in my password from the remote client, is it encrypted before it is sent to the server?

1.0.0 RC18 Win 98SE [snip] I guess I would need to add a new IP Address that does _not_ become adopted by the VNC Server. Any server device seems to take on any new IP Address that is applied to the system, temporary or otherwise If it it does not work, then a simple (...but considered and polite ...

Is it possible to use SHA1 or an other secure hash instead of the old method because it seems to be very easy to crack the password from the registry. http://phenoelit.de/fr/protos.html#VNC Maybe there can be an option for compatible (insecure method) or new ultravnc password storing (with SHA1 or ...
