Re: Can VncViewer.jar be used on Cisco ASA

Dear B,
the Java viewer doesn't (yet) support MSLogon... I hope I'm wrong.
I think you're wrong. Like I said, I configured "MS-Logon II" or "New MS-Logon" on my server.
If Ibrowse to http://MyVNCServer:5800/, I do get a VNC Authentication Window asking for both Username and Password.

Dear B,
Like I said, if I browse to my VNC Server via http://MyUltraVNCServer:5800/, the Java program works fine. I get a VNC Authentication Window asking for "Username" and "Password".
So the VncViewer.jar does support MS-Logon. But why doesn't it do it when launched from a command prompt?

This TightVNC Java plug-in does not support the UltraVNC "MS-Logon II" or the "New MS-Logon".
I installed UltraVNC 1 ...

Launch VncViewer.jar via command:wrong Authentication window

I installed the UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 Server and configured the "New MS Logon" or "MS-Logon II".
If I browse to this computer via http://MyUltraVNCServer:5800/ I get a VNC Authentication box asking for a Username and Password.
I downloaded the VncViewer.jar via http://MyUltraVNCServer:5800/VncViewer ...
