I want to create a new GUI for my InstantSupport.exe as mentioned in below image file.
Presently i am having this code ; Create the GUI.

only replacing the winVnc.exe says it requires higher version of viewer

from your post in viewtopic.php?f=3&t=27416 i knew that t the viewer and server does not have to worry about forwarding ports or anything else
but again what do you mean by:" providing the repeater is visible to both viewer and ...

please suggest me if replacing winVNC.exe is the solution to our problem...since recently we have also observe server ports getting close

sometimes presence of escan antivirus also causes the problem

can i have the exact meaning of this line....

and can we try to put a digital signature on winvnc.exe

can there be some other problem because its not the viewer port always now sometimes server ...

I'm using the wnc.exe version 1.0.9.6.....should i download a newer one...which version and where to download it from

but would adjusting the service properties to restart after crash prevent it from terminating existing connection

and i assumed that the repeater stops working(or crash) because we are using mode II and according to https://forum.ultravnc.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=27416

in mode II ports are opened ...

Which repeater are you using? Windows/Linux?---- windows
Is the repeater on the same network as the viewer? ---- no
Are you running ChunkViewer in LAN mode? ----- no
Does it work sometimes and then stop? ------ cannot tell specifically....it stops randomly
Have you changed any of the default ports ...

what could be the probable reason for viewer port getting closed suddenly and customer receiving error "connection to the repeater was not possible".


i think it may be helpful if u could say where the socket is created and bind to the port and made to listen...

well i commented the line.. still the problem persists..

If instant support is opened in a System with "Escan" antivirus, then the repeater port closes. In the same system PC_helpware works. Both instant support & PC_helpware connect to same website & same repeater.(port number is also same). But only when instant support is opened, repeater's port gets ...

If instant support opened in a System having antivirus Escan, then the repeater port closes. What is thr reason for this? If antivirus disabled then it works.

We have observed strange behavior yesterday when one customer opens instant support repeater port was getting closed and when that customer closed instant support repeater port was opened itself. it happened two three times. Any reasons for this behavior?. there is no antivirus

We use the repeater 3.3.1 and it is set to mode 2 only.

We use following
1. Compiler - ChunkVNC 3.3.1
2. Repeater - UltraVNC 2011 V2.00
3. Hosting - Goddady Virtual dedicated server.
Some times "Listen port server" of repeater closes. If we exit the repeater and re-open it, port will be available. Till what time port will be open is not certain. Some ...

Port has not closed after I disabled mode I , so I guess we can be sure that using both modes was the problem..

Is there a way to close the connection of the server from my side.. in the case where customers have not uninstalled Instant Support?

Yes , thank u.. The port has not closed till now after I unchecked Mode I.. Is it a bug in repeater??

I have shifted to a new godaddy server yest.. till now the error has come only twice.. I have disabled MODE I after that.. Can that be an issue, using both modes together? also when checked in TCPmonitor there are many repeater connection in WAIT_CLOSE mode for the same client?

My server is a godaddy VDS.. Godaddy is not blocking any ports ("confirmed by their agent"). The repeater in the server will not crash , but it will have many msgs like "reading proxy setting erro" "writing protocol version erro" "ECONNRESET detected" in the log.. Customers will get the msg ...

When I run the netstat /a command in my win2008 server it says the port is in listening mode.. but when I check through "http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/" it will show that the port is closed.. This is happening many times in a day.. I have to restart the repeater ...

I am a new user of Chunk VNC , I have set up the repeater in our server but have run into an issue.
After a while of using VNC without any errors , the port in my repeater server gets closed.
What may be causing this ?
