Re: CAD.exe in Windows7 and Vista
Unfortunately, this is not the problem: I have never turned UAC off. I had it set to the default setting of dimming the screen when I started, then changed it to notify but not dim the screen (as recommended by UltraVNC forums). I get UAC notifications all the time. Also, if a remote machine is ...
Re: Windows 7
I discovered that the problem returns after the UVNC server machine goes into a "locked" state (password protected screen saver, UVNC disconnect, etc). Once that happens, UVNC running as an app will not allow connections. I was getting the same message when running UltraVNC as an application under ...

Re: CAD.exe in Windows7 and Vista
I have not been able to work around the CAD problem. I've read everything I can find about it with no resolution. I have two Windows 7 machines, one is x86 (Ultimate), the other x64 (Pro). The symptoms are the same on both machines. I have MS Security Essentials running on both. I have disabled it ...
Re: Windows 7
I was getting the same message when running UltraVNC as an application under Win7 until I started it as Administrator (using runas). Try turning off the service, use runas to start the app as an application as administrator: not a long term solution but it might get you started runas /user:{machine ...

Re: bug SBS 2003 R2 unaccessible after server is locked
1.0.7.7 does not exhibit the screen saver lockup problem. System has gone into screen saver mode twice, both times VNC kept running and was able to exit screen saver mode properly.
I haven't tried the login window yet.

Re: bug SBS 2003 R2 unaccessible after server is locked
Normal settings are Poll Full Screen, Poll Foreground Window, Poll Window Under Cursor, System HookDLL and Video Hook Driver.
Check Video Hook Driver says 1.00.22
I'll try 1.0.7 to see if the problem goes away.

Re: bug SBS 2003 R2 unaccessible after server is locked
Follow up to my last post: 1) UVNC 1.0.6.5 server locked when i was using the Client machine doing other things, so it was not a Client side screen saver that caused the problem. I went to the remote system (down the hall) and it's screen saver had NOT kicked in on screen, even though it should have ...

Re: Unknown Authentication Scheme
Did you ever receive any help with this? I'm having the problem with one of my machines: a laptop running XP with the firewall turned off. All the settings in uVNC seem correct. I'm thinking of uninstalling and re-installing, just to see if something got lost.

Saved session: repeater info
When a session is saved, would it be possible to save the repeater settings? (I guess this would apply to both the Tabbed and Untabbed client.) I need to connect via several repeaters, but the repeater in use is not saved with the connection info when a connection is saved. I would like to save the ...
