UltraVNC

Using UltraVNC 1.0.9.6 with AES secure password, my users are seeing slow character entry when they type into the system, or no entries at all. I can duplicate this, three or fewer characters get no echo, but if I type 5 or more characters, I get them all at once. Is this a setting problem?

Thanks for reminding me, I did fix this by accident. When you remove the old VNC (1.0 in my case) the remove program leaves the directory in with one file, ultravnc.ini. If you install the new program over this .ini file, you get the problem I described. I deleted the whole directory, installed 1.96 ...

Well that was easy. Don't have to generate keys or anything. The password I type in becomes the VNC Password? I can leave the default password at default?

So you wind up with 2 passwords, one for VNC and one for the plugin? Would you recommend SecureVNC or AESV3PluginMT? Seems like SecureVNC would be easier to use but my IT contact likes AES. Thanks, Brent
