A request: when the viewer is started standalone, popup the "new connection" dialog.

When I connect with a viewer to a server, using the standard way, the quote characters are not sent. the ' and " are not sent, I see spaces instead. I don't have a real test environment. So I can't test very much. Is there something I should do or is it a bug? I have another question: where can I ...
