Re: TeamViewer - Free Desktop sharing

This is TeamViewer 2.43b Build: 749

But:
Do you know TeamViewer3?
Its not TeamViewer2 and not UltraVNC.
And there is a big difference: Its stable and fast.
And i guess thats why you can not download the sourcecode of TeamViewer3 (3, not 2!).

Re: TeamViewer - Free Desktop sharing

TeamViewer 3 is a reliable program, it is very good.
Much more stable than any UltraVNC i ever used!
Unfortunately not OpenSource, too bad!
It is possible to buy the SourceCode?

The script is displayed in the yast2 runlevel editor correctly and i can start and stop it without error. But if the system restarts, the repeater is NOT running although it is displayed in the yast2 runlevel editor as running (running: YES).
So i am as far as before. The ...

Re: repeater linux autostart

hello,
i tried the same thing on a suse 10.0 machine, but i gave up after many attempts with yast2 and without it (by creating a startup-skript with skeleton in init.d).
this repeater sticks to its console if started as daemon.
in the end i made a startscript (called repeaterexec) with simple:

Re: Run SC not as an interactive user?

and i noticed, after long tests in vain, that the good old repeater "uvnc.com" is not so good working as an own installed repeater :-)
So only with that own repeater i got a connection initiated by the server on the commandline:
winvnc.exe -autoreconnect ID:123321 -connect My_repeater.dom::5500

and ...

Re: Run SC not as an interactive user?

sometimes i wish to connect the pc (server) of some customers after the visit there and then the customer needs to click the SC or fill in the 'Add New Client' in the server that i can connect. But what if he is not there (especially at night time, when its my most active time :-) ) ?

Re: Run SC not as an interactive user?

Thank you for the hints,
yes SC can connect automatically, but only if started by a user, not by the System (Task). Is this different with PcHelpWare?

Run SC not as an interactive user?

Hello,
is it by design, that SingleClick cannot be started as a task and need to be started by an interactive user to connect to it?
Or am i doing something wrong: i started SingleClick with a MS-Task at a special time and tried then to connect to this machine by another machine.
But this didn't ...

Source Code for SingleClick available?

Hello,
is there a way to get the sourcecode for SC somewhere?
I want to create a version which runs also as a background task (not with an interactive user), for uncomplicate remoteaccess of customer pc.
So i want to compile it completetly by myself, like it is possible with UltraVNC.
Thanks for ...
