Re: Buttons Bar - missing Icons
I lost so many, many hours with debugging uVNC(and compiling, all the stuff) and getting it to work, it was a nice time too, as I gained experience. But after discovering the free TeamViewer which was in the beginning so much more stable, and had much more features, I never lost a tear after uVNC ...

Silent Setup and Run (over Repeater) with Inno Setup
Hello, with InnoSetup it is easy possible to compile a UltraVNC-Setup where you just click once and after UltraVNC is running (and autostarting) in a NAT behind a Firewall connecting to your (own) Repeater (here: myserver.tld) with a special ID (here: 12345). You need a repeater and following files ...

Re: File Transfer PRoblem
I had this problem because of:
Server / Admin Properties / Keyboard & Mouse / Disable Viewers Input (checked)
instead of unchecked. This is:
InputsEnabled=0
in ultravnc.ini but should be =1

I found it by myself:
it was the vnclang.dll
I used a old version of it. The icons are obviously in the vnclang.dll

I don't mean the server, i need a protocol from the viewer.
The viewer shuts down without any errormessage. Neither in the events.

Re: Mouse and keyboard inactive (but "View only" d
I found it. The switch InputsEnabled=0 (in ultravnc.ini corresponding to Keyboard & Mouse / Disable Viewers inputs in the Server Property Page) was set. Maybe because the user (with no adminrights) couldnt change it by the Admin Properties (config dialog). I put it to InputsEnabled=1 and all was ok ...

Re: TeamViewer - Free Desktop sharing
This is TeamViewer 2.43b Build: 749
But:
Do you know TeamViewer3?
Its not TeamViewer2 and not UltraVNC.
And there is a big difference: Its stable and fast.
And i guess thats why you can not download the sourcecode of TeamViewer3 (3, not 2!).

Re: TeamViewer - Free Desktop sharing
TeamViewer 3 is a reliable program, it is very good.
Much more stable than any UltraVNC i ever used!
Unfortunately not OpenSource, too bad!
It is possible to buy the SourceCode?

Re: Where does the server save its configuration?
Maybe better you use UltraVNC 1.0.4 RC16 and with this version UltraVNC saves its configuration in the UltraVNC-Directory in ultravnc.ini, no more registryentries needed.

Re: How to install UltraVNC via Remote Desktop without /cons
After thinking a bit and discovering that the Tray-Symbol is visible in the active connection, i notice: The symbol will only be visible on the console (or a RD-console-connection) but not at a non-console (RD-)connection because UVNC connects only to the console. Seems simply clear. Some day i will ...

How to install UltraVNC via Remote Desktop without /console?
Hello, i am searching and searching and don't find a good answer: How can i install UltraVNC 1.0.4 RC14 via Remote Desktop without using the console-switch? It was possible with 1.0.2 with using the ORL-Keys in the registry, but 1.0.4 doesn't seem to use the registry anymore (which, oddly, is ...

Re: UltraVNC running on a restricted useraccount
Shame on me. Once more: Shame on me :-( My mistake was: I put 5900 instead of 5901 as port in the Proxy/Repeater - Port (in vncviewer, the userinterface). Proxy/Repeater: myServer:5900 (instead of 5901) In my repeater it is 5901. I forgot that. I am a all-my-life-beginner :-) It is allways the same ...
