Re: Configuring uvnc repeater
Hi, been there! What I have always been successful at is first trying to connect two machines which are running on the same LAN network. Then branching out with the repeater, port forwarding, encryption, DNS redirect. etc. Get the machines talking to one another without any encryption first. Set up ...

Re: Distributer Fails
Well moved to desktop and ran as Admin, no luck. Still keeps failing http://screencast.com/t/nQulwHIn as soon as a connection is made. Have a feeling it's something in Windows 10. Will try moving to another machine.

Re: Distributer Fails
The distributor program is running on the server. The server remains active. It starts the connection fine, and starts to write to the txt file, then instantly crashes. It may have something to do with write privileges on the folders. Seems the latest W10 may have changed access security on folders ...

Distributer Fails
Have an odd problem. I upgraded W10 to the latest version (Nov) and now every time Distributer is accessed and starts relaying, the program instantly crashes. Has been working fine for several years, through, Vista, W7 and even the initial W10 upgrade. I've turned off, Windows Defender, the ...

Re: No Internet VNC Access
Shields UP as B suggested, very cool site by the way to check if your ports are open. Make sure on your router, you have specified which machine IP will be open on which port. Ie 192.1.168.100 port 5900 (Personally I don't use port 5900 I pick my own) If you have the dyndns client running on your ...

Re: Can 64-bit be used with a 32-bit?
Here is a post I wrote earlier on this subject. http://forum.ultravnc.info/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=28524&sid=f64195c58d46cc2f20d409d43d74c593 I use this exact set up and it works for me, the Viewer pkey for server access must be within the uVNC folder. Make sure to copy them in this folder. The other ...

Re: No Internet VNC Access
I use a program called dyndns to keep my IP address alive on the internet, have a look, it's free to set up and works well with uVNC. Once you have the port forwarding set up create a dyndns account and create a suitable name like cffscomputer.dyndns.org then in your viewer window type in ...

Re: 32bit->64bit w/SecureVNC Problem
I went through a number of changes to make this thing work, here's what I did. I am using x64 viewer (Vista) to talk to x86 (XP) and x64 (W7) using the secure VNCPlugin. Download and install the correct verion on the server first. Grey screen from the server, I uncheck the System HookDLL and Video ...
