Re: VNC Central (Freeware Utility To Manage Remote Computers
Hello, I was able to get VNC Central installed and working on my computer and all remote machines... however I don't actually see any ultraVNC integration or how to get that part going? I posted a thread on the VNC Central forums here: http://vnccentral.awardspace.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2 ...

Re: VNC Central (Freeware Utility To Manage Remote Computers
Yes it would work fine and solve your problem as long as the client PC is not firewalled .... The remote PC will not be running any firewall software, but we have no control over the router so that's an unknown. By default, most routers don't have any firewall installed, so VNC ports should be open ...

Re: VNC Central (freeware utility to manage remote computers
Also, it would be great if you could make it so that the Server has an option to accept or reject a "passive" UltraVNC connection. Currently, if you set the server to "Query on incoming connection", then it works for an "active" connection but not for a "passive" one. That way, I could tell users ...

I've decided to do the following: when winvnc starts it checks the uvncadmin.ini file to see where are the other settings stored, if their location is not specified then the uvncdefault.ini is searched in the current directory and the user profile .ini file is searched in the home profile directory ...
