Re: Termination of any pgm causes Appl.Error when session ac
Hi Rudi - 1) "Try without hook DLLs" - I'm sorry - can you explain a little better what I should do? Sorry! 2) I have 3 PCs A,B,C. A and B are running XP. C is running W7, A,B,C are all running 1.1.9.6 B viewing A -> any apps closed on A give me an App error. A viewing B -> refresh of sub-windows ...

Termination of any pgm causes Appl.Error when session active
Hi - I am running 1.1.9.6 as a server on a WinXP machine. When a remote session is active (and only when a remote session is active). Terminating ANY running application produces an error box <Application name> - Application Error The instruction at 0x100020b4 referenced memory at "0x00000000". The ...

Re: Dual Monitor problem
Thank you Rudi - I'm not sure I understand what is meant by "driver". Is this the mirror driver? Or what is it?
I think I do have the driver on the remote machine but it may not be properly installed?
Thanks!!!

Re: Dual Monitor problem
Hi Rudi - thanks, I think you mean the top toolbar button "Select Full Desktop/Switch Monitor (driver only)"? I have played with this, and I wonder if I see the correct behavior. Usually, when it tries to give me the 2nd monitor it just gives me a black screen, and if I disconnect I cannot reconnect ...

Dual Monitor problem
Hi - I love UltraVNC. But at home my desktop PC is setup in a dual-monitor configuration. When I VNC to it, I see only the 1st monitor, but when I try to open some applications (often Windows Explorer), they often appear on the 2nd (unseen) monitor because that's where they were located last time I ...

changing resolution to something else and back fixed it. Thanks. Does this tell me anything that could help eliminate the problem?

Re: Screen won't refresh until PC Reboots
It's the native vnc that comes with the centos release. I'll try switching to TightVNC for a few days and see if the problem recurs. I see your point though, it seems odd that I terminate the viewer. Restart the viewer, and the screen is still corrupted, but if I terminate the viewer, restart the ...

Re: Screen won't refresh until PC Reboots
HI - I can switch to TightVNC and see if it recurs. I'm rebooting the machine running the -Viewer- to fix it, so I'm not sure how restarting the Server will make a difference.
Thanks

Re: Screen won't refresh until PC Reboots
Hi - I'm sorry to sat that the older version 1.0.8.2 has reduced, but not eliminated the problem. I reboot daily, but every 3-4 days I need an additional mid-day reboot because UltraVNC has stopped refreshing the screen. Closing/restarting the viewer doesn't help, neither does "Request Screen ...

Re: Screen won't refresh until PC Reboots
understood.
but I forgot to mention. I -also- use it to VNC between 2 XP machines, (hence the need for FTP), so I need to update (well, downdate) both installs.
thanks!

Screen won't refresh until PC Reboots
Hi - I run UltraVNC on an updated, clean, Win XP SP3 system, to VNC into a Centos 5.6 system. Sometimes, I open a session and the screen is black. I wave the cursor across the screen and various pixels in its path refresh, but that's it. I try "request screen refresh" and it doesn't help. I exit and ...
