VNC when within a terminal services session

Hi guys, Is there any known issue when running a vnc session from within a terminal services session? Im not sure if it is related to the viewer or the server, but when the connection is initiated, and the viewer gets the message asking to accepting the call, as soon as the viewer clicks ok, the vnc ...

Okay, i have finally got around to trying this new sciii with the new repeater and so far so good. 1 question though for you. I take it the program still works even if no proxy is in place thus allowing you to use it for both events... normal vncviewer >> 5901 - disributer5 - 443 << proxy << sciii ...

Hi...

Thanks for the reply. That looks very interesting as it could probably solve some of the connection issues i have with some of the clients (fancy routing/firewall/proxy) issues.

I shall keep a check on this.

Cheers

Will SCIII be better for me?

Hi all, I have been away from this site for a while and i see that there has been quite a few updates. Now here is what i am currently doing... We have a support tool that is bundled with sc.exe that our clients can download from us. This basically has a hard coded ip address to our repeater that is ...

The reason for wanting to use port 80 is because this is not likely to get blocked (unless they have got smart routers/firewalls thatlook at the data being passed). I think the only way for the moment is to use port 443 (https) as this should also be open. I spoke to one of the developers at RealVNC ...

okay reading the bottom of the helpdesk syntax, it says the following... If you add [DIRECT] and only have 1 [HOST] defined, the menu is not shown and the connection is direct started. (can be usefull for scripting) [DIRECT] doesn't have a parameter line. I have tried this and it doesn't work. Here ...

IP1) 192.168.0.1 IP2) 192.168.0.2 On IP1 we have a web server that runs on port 80. On IP2 we want to have a 'VNCViewer -listen 80' running. Is this possible? I have tried this ...

Listen with multiple IP's

Hi all, First time poster so be gentle.... I am thinking of using UltraVNC for supporting some customers using the vncviewer in listen mode at our end and the winvnc at their end (thus getting round any basic port forwarding rubbish). Now i know you can tell VNC to connect through a particular IP ...
