Connection stability connecting via SC with Verizon DSL
I run Advantig OneClick which as I understand it is built on top of SC. I constantly experience issues staying connected to my clients who use Verizon DSL. I had posed this question some time ago but originally I thought it was isolated to one customer but it appears to occur with all my customers ...

Re: OneClick:Win7/Vista VNC Helpdesk Remote Support System
I am testing this new version of OneClick and trying to get this to run in a user account on XP that is only a member of Users group and because of that it denies access to the service manager so it apparently cannot install itself as a service and because of this it disconnects itself when I log ...

Re: SC continously connects and then immediately drops
I am sorry I did not get back to you sooner with the answer. Got sidetracked with other things. It is indeed Vista SP2. I think I know what you are talking about. It never dawned on me that those settings in Vista would be involved. I will definitely take a look at that. I assume u suspect the ...

Will VNC work on the New Verizon Treo
Do they have a VNC client that uses the DSM plugin that will work on the new Verizon Treo with Windows Mobile? If not what about with the Palm OS version of the Treo. One of my customers want to get the Treo but isn't sure whether he should get the Windows based one or the Palm based one. I have him ...

Launch SC via browser while bypassing Download Dialog Box?
I use SC for my customers. They simply click on a link to the exe file on my website to activate but then they get the option to run or save to disk. This is fine with those users using Internet Explorer because I simply tell them to hit Run. Problem is with Firefox and some other browsers, for ...

Winvnc server crashes when DSM plugin is used
When I use the DSM plugin, the server aka winvnc.exe crashes. The viewer does not crash, but it seems to get hung up on negotiating protocol. The server however crashes and shuts down. When I attempt the same connection without the plugin enabled they connect fine. I'm using version RC202 with both ...

I just determined something else. I tested it by connecting using the regular WInVNC Server of UltraVNC rather then the SC and what I get is the message that it failed to connect to port. So this concludes that SC itself has nothing to do with the problem. Something is preventing the server from ...

SC unable to connect to listening viewer??
I am having a strange problem. I was looking for easy remote access ability for my clients so I setup SC and put it on my website so people can get to it and launch it if I need them to. I opened port 5500 on my router. I then tested it by having my friend activate SC from his house via my website ...
