Inline fill in of hostname:port from previous host list
I tend to connect to the same 4-5 hosts. So it would be nice if the viewer filled in when i start typing a hostname or IP. So if I wanted to connect to abcd.com:5901 when I typed 'a' it would fill in the rest of the hostname and portnumber.

EDIT: Request for a Toolbar View Mode toggle on/off icon
I often hop between view mode and active mode and it would be nice to not have to dig through menus every time I want to toggle view mode on or off. So a keyboard shortcut would be handy. As I suggested: ctrl + v = View mode toggle on/off EDIT: Request changed to a request for a toolbar View Mode ...

How do you set a default and not have the "Save connection settings as default" checkbox checked by default?

[View mode] in the titlebar when in view mode
I'd like a quick and easy way to see if I'm in view mode or not. My suggestion is to add [View mode] in the titlebar when it's set to view only.

Telnet support - server pc's command prompt?
On all my VNC server PCs I always have, other then UVNC, remote administrator installed, as a backup vnc, and it does the job, but worse then UVNC.. Although it has a feature that I think UVNC doesn't have. It can telnet to the server. So when I telnet to the server I get basically the servers ...

Porhaps this could be impleamented with RC207+? Either way, thanks for fixing the: If connecting with "View only" to a computer that has screensaver active it deactivets the ss bug. Although another quite frequent(for me) bug isn't fixed: If you set it to "Disconnect all existing connection" when a ...

Option to show ONLY servers primary screen
My server pc has a primary screen with 1024x768 resolution and a secondary of 1024x576 and I always only want to see the scaled down primary monitor. As it is now(with RC20.2) it first loads both of the monitors and then when they are rendered it(as it seams) to re-render the primary monitor when I ...

Ooh, that's to bad :( As mentioned earlier. RealVNC 4.0 enterprise edition works with encryption. Whe I try to connect directly from the usb-drive. It asks me to generate a secure key. I press ok and right there, I'm remote controlling my home computer securly from the public library. But without ...

I'm sitting once again at the public library and yes, once again: "cannot configure DSMPlugin". So I'm forced to use Real VNC Enterprise edition 4.0. Which seam to have quiet a neat solution. I just tap in the ip/address:port and it asks me to generate secure key. I press ok. Enter my password. And ...

I use UltraVNC 19.5 and the DSM Plugin that came with it (version 1.1.2). On the server side, the key has to be in the folder "program files" and on the client (aka viewer) side it has to be in the folder where the viewer is or, if you use saved sessions, in the folder with the *.vnc file. For me ...

Optional mute audio with Screen blanking & local input b
Since you can blank the screen and block local keyboard/mouse input I think the next natural step is to block local audio also together with the other blockings. And now [topic=1898]Emil[/topic] turn me on to the idea of forwarding the sound to the client! Porhaps you can combine these. So when you ...
