Re: Silent Install of VNC
While I don't know about Windows 7, I can say with great certainty using the mirror driver drastically reduces CPU usage on Windows XP.

Re: Silent Install of VNC
Note: My script runs from the root of C:\ and looks for the UVNC setup program in a folder named UVNC, also located on the root of the C:\ drive. There are 2 sub-folders, one for the mirror drivers (and devcon), the second folder gets copied into place and contains the settings file ultravnc.ini. At ...

Re: Silent Install of VNC
I just ran into this. Until now, I have been deploying a server only silent install and never had a problem passing the switches for an INNO based installer (see http://www.jrsoftware.org/ishelp/). For VNC specific parameters, they are contained in an install.inf file specified by my install script ...

Re: client screen refresh
My apologies for a delayed response to this.... The problem is most notable when looking through windows event viewer on Windows XP. Closing an event and or moving to the next event leaves plenty of artifacts. That said, version 1.0.9.6 is much improved in this regard. And I have found the problem ...

Re: client screen refresh
Not sure really....as the options are greyed out when choosing the "AUTO" (select best settings) connect option.
I will do some experimentation by disabling Auto and manually selecting or deselecting the encoding options.

client screen refresh
Hello, I have v1.0.9.5 server installed on WinXP SP3 using mirror driver. UVNC works very well, but occasionally I have problems where the client screen is not updated. This requires a manual refresh of the screen. Any suggestions for changes to my settings? [poll] TurboMode=0 PollUnderCursor=0 ...
