Normal the UltraVNC Viewer makes a connection to the UltraVNC Server.
The UltraVNC Server listens for a UltraVNC Viewer.

But sometimes you want that the UltraVNC Server connects to the UltraVNC Viewer.

Hi :)

Can anyone explain to me what is "listen mode"?
I used to have a UltraVNC icon in the windows tray. Now I have 2. The regular one and another (different shade of green) that is called "UltraVNC Viewer listening - port:5500".

I recently upgraded from uVNC 1.2.0.3. to 1.2.1.1 on win10 machines.

Now when I use vnc://hostname.local it works as usual from a windows (10) client but not anymore from an OSX (10.11.6) client (cannot be resolved).

using vnc://IPaddress still works from both clients, though
