Re: SecureVNC (DSM) asking for password in reverse connectio
Ok, so this is by design. I can overcome this by supplying a password inline (it's irrelevant anyway, since the connecting person still have to possess the right key certificate), or I could force nopassword on the server, but it seems a bit overkill. SecureVNC could have an option to override the ...

Re: Understanding reverse connections using repeater
This is a great tutorial, I appreciate the effort. So now I know that the 443 port is not a proxy, just an alternative port to 5500 when it is blocked on firewall. As for my viewer question and changing infos - yes, that's on status window, the small one appearing before you get the connection. The ...

Re: Multiple connections using SecureVNC
Great. That's what I wanted to know. I understand the ID limitation - I have no problem with using different ID's to connect multiple machines, I just wanted to make sure that SecureVNC can work with that.
Thanks for your answer.

Multiple connections using SecureVNC
Can I use multiple reverse connections using SecureVNC plugin? I'm having a shared server which re-uses repater in mode 2 - it works now (each new user is using a new ID, like 0001, 0002, server is initiating the connection for each new user). It seems to work just fine without the SecureVNC, but I ...

SecureVNC (DSM) asking for password in reverse connection
My questions is as in topic. Could someone (possibly the author :) explain to me, what does this happen? I see some kind of inconsistency here, which I would like to understand : server and client without SecureVNC, regular connection - ASKS for password - which is obvious, since access is password ...

Re: Multiple connections and repeater/loopback
Thanks for the response. So, is there any other way to have multiple connections with reverse connection? I'm mostly interested in calling it from commandline. I know that having winvnc running, one can choose "add new client" manually, but that's sort of not the point. Can I "add client" from ...

Multiple connections and repeater/loopback
Is it actually possible? I would like to preserve the reverse connection (from server to client) but be able to handle multiple connections. I have the following setup : - repeater in mode 2 - client, starting listening(vncviewer.exe ID:xxxx -proxy repeateraddress:5901 -shared - server, connecting ...
