Re: 1.0.9.6.2 on Win7 Pro 64-bit popping out of Aero
I'm not sure if I understand your first statement correctly. Are saying Microsoft designed the graphics mode for VNC to pop it out of Aero on purpose? The Server setting to 'remove aero' is not checked, so it's not ON. Are there any other settings that should be set a certain way? I did notice that ...

1.0.9.6.2 on Win7 Pro 64-bit popping out of Aero
I'm using version 1.0.9.6.2 on my Win7 Pro 64-bit & WinXP systems. When I've connected to my W7 box after a while UVNC "Pops" Win7 out of Aero Graphics mode. It doesn't seem to matter which of my XP boxes I access it with, they all seem to forces W7 out of Aero. If no VNC connection is made, I never ...

Re: [Resolved] UVNC can't find my system after changing my N
That's what I thought. I guess I should have rebooted of flushed the router, which is where the IP address are stored. I tried flushing the Switches, but duh, I forgot that they only hold the MAC address. Thank you very much for that info. It's always good to know how things work.

[Resolved] UVNC can't find my system after changing my NIC
I installed a new 1Gbps NIC in my Windows XP system & now UVNC can't find that system except by its IP address. I'm sure it's still looking for the old IP address. I can ping the system by name. It shows up in Network Neighborhood on my other XP systems & in Network on my Windows 7 system. It even ...

vncviewer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close
I posted this problem last week. I installed version 1.0.9.1 & that seemed to fix this problem at first, but that was temporary. Now the problem is back. I have version 1.0.9.1 of UltraVNC installed on a host & 2 client computers, all are running Windows XP Pro with all current SP & patches. When I ...

Re: vncviewer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to clo
Thanks. I installed the new one & that fixed my problem. I wish everything in life was that easy to resolve. I guess it's all a matter of asking the right person...
THANK YOU.
PS. Do I need to mark this as "Resolved" or "Closed" or anything?

Re: vncviewer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to clo
Will do. Thanks. Can I install it over the current one or do I have to remove the old version first?

[SOLVED] vncviewer.exe has encountered a problem and needs
I have the current version of UltraVNC installed on a host & 2 client computers, all are running Windows XP Pro with all current SP & patches. When I try to log in to one of the clients, I get the following message: "vncviewer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry..." It ...
