10 MB are sent much, much slower than a 300 KB file. If I transfer the file uncompressed it takes, let's say 3 minutes. But if I compress the file and transfer just the compressed one it takes only 30 seconds... Are you 100% sure that File Transfer compresses even a single file? I know that, whem ...

Force ZIP file at transfer

Hi. Pretty often I transfer large text files... Some above 10 MB... Is there any way to force File Transfer to compress the file before transfering it? A 10MB text file can be zipped to about 300 KB... Of course, I can compress the file myself and unpack it after the trasfer, but it would be great ...
