So is there a guide or something that can lead me into full clean of VNC? I've only installed VNC and set a password but always getting VNC Authentication Failure. I don't understand. It's confusing as hell. Every other machine with XP though I've just installed XP on, I just set the VNC password ...

damn. I'm having this issue. I had RealVNC on here but the password was the same password I'm using on UltraVNC. Is that all you had to do was uninstall the old VNC? How the hell does a password error have something to do with an installation unless they both were running using 2 different passwords ...

I can even go to Start > UltraVNC > Edit Settings > Security Tab, and set the password as "test" and I still get authentication failure. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.
