I would prefer to use the current revision and figure out why this seems to only be a problem for me. Is there some setting I can easily change to improve the connection? I don't think this is a bug as it is only happening to me apparently. Any ideas? Is there something wrong with my settings above?

There should be 2 connection options...
I do demo's from my computer and would still like the ability to control it from home. It would be nice if when connecting you use 1 password for view only mode and 1 password for full control. I can distribute the view only password but still control it. (it makes doing demos from home possible)

I just tried it on a new computer. I installed 19.5 and I got the same thing. The remote computer was using a very slow dsl connection and I tested on a dialup connection (real bad) all xp pro sp2 machines. Prior testing with 2000 pro and 98 machines also... When I connect to a machine using the ...

How can I improve the connection?
I think SC is excellent and have got many companies to stop using their current solution to use this far superiour solution. I have designed a website that has links to saved VNC connections on it (1-10) Then I made a tool to automatically add the page as an active desktop. So the Techs will have a ...

I had issues when I first tried to use VNC using ports 5800 and 5900.. I have switched to Port 1235 for vnc and 1234 for the viewer. I made sure to add vnc to xp firewall and make sure you're not using zonealarm (unless it's the pay edition it wont allow vnc connections) Forwarded those 2 ports and ...

You could make a connection to whatever computer you want to connect and press alt+f5 I believe to save your connection as a *.vnc file and upload that to your website. That way if you need to connect to that computer or whatever you just click the regular link or you make a small html file that has ...

i dont know
If it is placed in the startup folder it will run itself but the user will still have to initiate a connection which doesn't simplify a lot. I like the small file size... Mine is currently 169kb which is great but maybe you could make a seperate program that could be SC-Reconnect and if we need to ...

just an idea
What if you made a script that will run after reboot once and then erase itself... if you need to reboot again just install the script and run it again... This way it is only used when you need it. Or when SC is installed it will look to see if a txt file named SC.txt is at c:\SC.txt if it isn't it ...

another option
There needs to be an option to have the SC start on a reboot. I am using autoit right now to try and do this but it is extremely sloppy and unprofessional. I fix computers for customers and need to reboot frequently when doing a defrag etc can't be done during business hours it can take days for me ...

View Multiple Monitors
Currently (as far as I know) if the "server" machine has 2 or more monitors you can't view them. If there isn't a way to do this already there should be buttons on the toolbar or a shortkey to switch between monitors. maybe ctrl+m+1 for the first monitor and ctrl+m+2 for the 2nd monitor. I believe I ...

Problems with SC
I have been using the SC piece for a few days now and it has been great... except when I connect to a someone with a slower connection the screen looks choppy and I can't see 40% of the screen 60% of the time... Is it possible to make it look better? or make a shortkey in SC to refresh the screen?

This is GREAT!
I have everything working great now but I was wondering how many connections can the repeater/SC handle? I have it set with 10 connections... can it acctually handle that many? (in my connect to window is says Tech01, Tech02, Tech03, etc.) ALSO is there a way to make it so on the server with the ...
