A little improvement.

The text-field-order is not logically. When started, the cursor should default to the username and after Tab the next field should be the password and not Sign-in or Close.

I have tried sc_gt with 2 pc's on my own lan. System is really promissing, but the speed was too slow.

My internet-line is 5 MB download and 700 K upload. Can it be configured to improve speed ?

If your router can forward an external port 5501 to an internal port 5500 (sometimes called portmapping), then that solution will be easier to maintain.

You do not need an external repeater or nat2nat server. You can forward port 5500 on the client-router (maybe restricted to the server-routers public IP), and start the session from the server with "Add new client". You can try to use "Scheduled Tasks" to run the winvnc-server with command-line ...

If you use the repeater in mode II, you only forward port 550x from the internet, and that way just viewers on your lan can use it.

My first guess is, that a firewall on the XP home is blocking incoming requests on port 5900 (viewer) and/or 5800 (javaviewer).

Great :-) When SCIII starts, the cursor is on the OK-buttom and the ID-field can only be reached with a mouse-click. Can the ID-field be the default with white background and the content centered. You don't even need the repeater. Simply have PC1 listen on port 5900 and PC2 on port 5901. Forward both of those ports using the router configuration pages and then select the appropriate port when you connect using the viewer. BTW, if you're not using the java viewer you don't need port 5800 ...

The "Add new Client"-feature. I think it is part of all flavours of VNC, and it is definately a feature of UltraVNC's server.
