I deployed the RC16 to more than 100 PC and found the MSLogon bug about lock account. Now, the MSLogon v.2 is working on RC18. Does any body comment to upgrade from RC16 to RC18 by group policy in W2K network?

By default, user mode cannot start any services. I did some permission change refer to this article:

Now, user can use net start winvnc to start the services.

Posted several questions before and solved my issue finally. Scenario: Administrator & users running on W2K and the users only using "User mode" (not "Power users" and "Admin"). How to enable the MSLogon feature? ONLY can use the VNC "services" mode is true, but the services always ON seems risky ...

Viewer cannot see the mouse motion on server and the cursor seems freeze. Any idea? Thz.

Without using any plugin, did the password send by viewer to server encrypted?

Why not add options "Stop services" or "Close application"? Seems more secure!

Checked MS Logon and assign proper local admin group, everything running fine with trial test. Now the problem is in server. I started the server by a "user mode" user, no one even authorized user cannot access this server. Tried several time, it works after promoted the same user inside "Power User ...

BTW, I installed Ultr@VNC v1.0.0 RC11d before and do not have "Group" setting. Only available in the UltraVNC-100-RC11d.
