Unable to register WinVNC as a Service

After I've installed ultraVNC v1.0.0 RC 18 I tried typing winvnc -install in the command prompt. Every time I do this, I receive the same error; The Service Control Manager could not be contacted - the win VNC service could not be registered. I'm in the c:\program files\ultraVNC directory.
