I'm afraid that I'm unable to find the source code for the MSI installer. It certainly isn't a wix project... what technology is being used to build the msi database?

Perhaps maintaining is the wrong word. MSLogon 2 uses NTLM, which Microsoft has advised not to use. It would be best to use Kerberos if available to connect to an AD domain. Also, I had thought that the original implementer (Mascha?) had left for other pastures...

I have to concur with Cris' general thoughts, at least... (I'm not a big fan of automatic unit tests in practice). Still, the rest holds, in any case. Building this project is difficult, to say the least (OK, not specifically building it, but rather setting it up for build). The mix of open source ...

If you have only domain users or groups in the ACL, you can copy the contents of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORL\WinVNC3. Otherwise, you'll need to rerun MSLogonACL.exe
