I've opened the ports on my firewalls, both on the router and on the vnc server machine. I know that the ports are open since I do get a password dialogue when trying to log in. before opening the ports I just got connection failed errors. I have disabled the DSMplugin at the server to simplify ...

I try to connect to vnc from a remote network via vpn. after entering the password i always get the authentication failed message, even though the password is correct. when i connect from a station in the local network it works just fine. any ideas about this problem? Bump, I have the same issue ...
