For me this was fixed by changing to "New MS Logon" authentication. I have no idea why the old "require MS logon" option no longer works. It worked for a long time and I'm not sure what made it stop working. Thanks again for the help.

Yeah I read a little about that in my searches, but we aren't doing any encryption. Nothing fancy...pretty much all default settings.

If I check the box for local, does than mean only the local admin, or both domain and local admin? Well the "domain admins" group should be a member of the local administrators group. What I'm currently doing is deploying an ini file when I do the install on the client. The Ini file tells it how to configure the admin properties of the server. I noticed that's the executable for the directx viewer. If I try to run it I get an error stating the application failed to start because the side by side configuration is incorrect.
