Re: SC small exe Update 2011
Nothing like posting to help you find your answer faster!?!?! I realized I was using the MSRC4 1.2.2 and 1.2.4 plugin that was 32bit, and running it on my Win7 64bit pc with 64 bit ultraVNC. So when I copied over the plugin, ultraVNC choked. I reinstalled ultraVNC 1.0.9.6 32bit, and I now can ...

Re: SC small exe Update 2011
I compiled the sc using instructions above and it works fine without encryption. When I use with encryption (listen mode encrypt), my viewer says, "The plugin cannot be loaded. Please check its name integrity". "Invalid protocol!" "You've forgotten to select a DMSPlugin and the Server uses a ...

Re: Help: New Encryption Error :-(
use the latest UltraVNC 1.0.8.2
use the UltraVncSC update 2009 version of sc
These should work with the default encryption plugins (no need to change anything).

Re: Single Click -- MSRC4Plugin.dsm Headache!
I am using windows7 64 bit for my ultravnc install as well. Running sc on xp computers. I left the MSRC4Plugin.dsm for ultravnc alone, the way it came in the default, fresh 1.0.8.2 install. I uploaded my zip file to sc creator 2009. No winvnc.exe was uploaded, just the files that came in the custom ...

Re: Single Click -- MSRC4Plugin.dsm Headache!
Got it.
For ultravnc 1.0.8.2, you need to use the sc creator UltraVNCSC update 2009.
http://www.uvnc.com/pchelpware/sc/creator.html
Scroll down to the bottom of the web page to find it. This ensures your MSRC4Plugin.dsm plugins are the same version for both sc and viewer.

Re: Single Click -- MSRC4Plugin.dsm Headache!
I think I'm back to the beginning now. Using vnc 1.0.8.2, fresh install Created an sc online from the custom.zip contents. Extracted the msrc4plugin.dsm from the resulting sc creator .exe file. The plugin appears to be older than I one bundled with vnc. Pasted the msrc4plugin.dsm in the vncview ...

Re: SCPrompt 2009 (Vista Capable - SC or Server 1.0.8.0) 1/1
The icon generated for the sc application is fuzzy. I tried changing the icons that come by default, but the fuzzy aqua marine icon with an eye keeps being generated when I run the script.
Using the december release.

Re: General security question for SC using port forwarding
Thanks.
By key file, I assume you mean the ultravnc key file. I was not aware of one with windows.
By password I assume you mean the windows pc users passwords (SC does not have password access as well?)

Multiple SC users for multiple listeners using same SC exe?
Using SC is great. I can connect a single viewer to a single server through the customized sc.exe.
From what I see, SC always goes to one predefined viewer listener (using port forwarding). How does one connect multiple simultaneous viewers/servers using SC?

General security question for SC using port forwarding
I am using port forwarding for my viewer which is listening to outside requests from SC.
Since I will leave this port open on my computer, what security issues do I need to worry about? what general security steps do I need to take to prevent hacks into my computer via this port? Thank you.
