OK, this is a little wierd . . . When installed on other servers, including virtual servers on VMWare ESX boxes, the service can run fine under local account as we always use an admin account on these boxes. However, the new set of servers with the issue are virtual servers, using VMWare ESX with ...

Thanks for the thought, but this was a fresh install on a new server. I did look to make sure there were no other similar services running.

I think I will try a few more items with the service and how they are configured.

When in Admin Properties, it closes within a few seconds

When I go into Admin Properties via right click on the icon in the task bar, it stays up for a few seconds and then closes. I cannot make any changes to the settings as I am not fast enough. This happens whether I go in via remote, or on the server itself. Server: VMWare - W2003 Server w/ SP2 Ideas?
