Remote triangulation/server option?
Hello, I have been using UltraVNC and even created a small executable that I can send to users for them to reverse connect back to me. This has been great and very helpful. However I have run into a snag that I am not sure how to rectify. I have a desktop at home and the reverse connection ...

Re: Ultra VNC SC Frustration
I figured it out finally.
You must go to your UVNC Programs folder and run the uVNC Viewer in Listen Mode. For my case, i chose the one without Encryption and it worked just fine.
Hope this helps someone.

Ultra VNC SC Frustration
While the uVNC SC setup docs seem to be ok, what am I supposed to setup on the sender side? I have created a custom SC executable with my external IP. I have port 5500 forwarded to my statically assigned workstation here. When I start the SC on the client I sent the executable to it instantly fails ...

UVNC - Over HTTPS, no client
Hello, I have fortunately setup UVNC with the VNC Viewer and server correctly after altering my firewall. It works great. I also was able to get the HTTP method working. However, I wanted to find out, is it somehow possible to setup HTTPS with UVNC? I would love to be able to go somewhere and reach ...

Can connect, but screen does not update
I setup the VNC listener using the PCHelpWare method. Quite easy and nice. However, when the Client (Server) connects to my VNC Listener, I instantly can see the Server desktop. However I cannot interact or move anything such as the mouse, icons, open folders, IE. It just looks and acts like a ...

Re: Confused about SC
I setup a repeater as well, but I am dumb founded on if I am supposed to use the Viewer in Listen mode, the Server or the Repeater and how to let the repeater work properly. I have to say the instructions for setting up SC seem to be fine for the most part, but I haven't been able to find out what ...

Re: Confused about SC
Hello, Thanks for the post. Well I got VNC Listner Server up and can connect to my test system via the UVNC Viewer without a problem. Setting up UNVC SC has been tough though. I guess I may have this idea backwards. I followed all the links and how too's on the website. Whenever I test the custom ...

Re: Confused about SC
Thank you very much for the reply. So I could setup a VNC Server (or Listener is the correct term?) on say my Web Server. Once I configure SC to point to my VNC Server, I can send the exe, or a zip of the SC.exe that is preconfigured by me, to my dad, or frankly anyone that wants to connect. All he ...

Confused about SC
Hello, I am looking for a remote control program that seems to be what SC provides. Here is the scenario I am at my work and my dad calls me up saying that he thinks he screwed up the computer. He can get online and see the internet, but cannot figure out how to get his Outlook running. If my dad ...
