When you create the SC exe your dad will use, you must put in your public ip address. If you have a static IP it's not a problem... ever. If you have a dynamic (DHCP) IP assigned by your ISP you can use it, but it will eventually change and then your dad can't access you. You can probably test it ...

Thank you very much for the reply.
So I could setup a VNC Server (or Listener is the correct term?) on say my Web Server. Once I configure SC to point to my VNC Server, I can send the exe, or a zip of the SC.exe that is preconfigured by me, to my dad, or frankly anyone that wants to connect.

SC is what I use all the time to support remote clients. It eliminates the need for a client to configure anything (not even on the router).
