i have tried the above soultions on a w2k server sp4 and the viewer still starts on 5500 the -listen switch works fine on my XP machines.

any ideas would be helpful

new to this forum not sure if this is the place for the question i am having trouble with the -listen switch. i am trying to get a w2k server sp4 machine to listen on an different port but the -listen [port] does make make a difference. it works fine on my XP machines. any ideas would be helpful ...

can't get viewer to listen on other ports

I am trying to get viewer to listen on a different port used the
-listen [port] and it still launches using port 5500

this is on a w2k server sp4 machine

i set up xp and it works fine launches with what ever port i tell it

any ideas would be helpful

I have installed ultr@vnc and i can not get the viewer to listen on any other port this is on a w2k server sp4.

i have tried the -listen [443] switch and it still starts on port 5500

I do this on XP and it works fine.

any ideas would be helpful
