In fact, I know tabbed viewer exists, but I have never used it, neither thought it is able to do it :-)
I was searching for resizing, but results did not lead me toward tabbed viewer.

Would be possible, without affecting compatibility, to implement
any resampling resize algorithm ? At least bilinear as one of simplest.
Possibly in both server and/or viewer side.

Current resize in near to 1.00 ratios is so horrible,
that I never use it, prefering screen scrolling or smaller window.

Well, one can download 7za.exe from 7zip site dowload page<, rename it to 7z.exe and put it there.

Or, copy there 7z.exe from 7-zip folder, should be ok.

Or, replace in PCHW related batch files 7z.exe by pathname of you genuine 7z.exe in 7-zip folder.

I suppose you need PCHW viewer.
PCHW is said to be compatible with UVNC only on helphesk.txt level, not in protocol level. It is different product.

PCHW instalation contains 7z.exe. There is a vulnerability report about 7-zip prior to 4.57 version. Secunia PSI founded 3 location of old vulnerable 7z.exe in pchw folders. When I inspected original name, It was, as I had expected, 7za.exe, i.e. standalone 7z version. Not sure, if 7za is vulnerable ...

It remembers the rule, but for full pathname, not for all files with the same filehash.
So, there is no sense for making permanent rule for one time only program.
Use permit once option, with no rule creation.

Hmm - interesting. 5900 is default port SERVER is listening to VIEWER connection request in NORMAL mode. 5500 is default port VIEWER is listening to SC or full SERVER request in REVERSE mode. sorry for confusion, but I had all the time in mind it is port 5500 where your viewer is listening, as it is ...

But afaik SC is not listening, only manually initiated outgoing connection is allowed.

If you install 7zip, you can easily open SC executable and see, what connection parameters are written in embedded helpdesk.txt file.

your friend needs to use http://address:5500
othervise browser obviously use default http port 80

We do not need to test http, but port 5500, whatever there is listening....
And check SW Firewall on viewer PC, if any,
to be either off or allowing incoming TCP connection for webserver
