I generally just use the web browser to access the server. Am I misled in thinking that there is no way to adjust it as you mention when using the http feature?

server screen scaling
Hi, I've tried searching but havne't yet found a solution to this. My server is on resolution 1280*1024, and I'm trying to connect through http from a laptop with resolution 1280*800. I can't get the scaling to work - what I want is like a 1:1.8 ratio or something, because just the very right side ...

I agree that the current options for server screen scaling aren't all too useful. Is there a way to get it to show the server screen at a percentage of it's full size? 1/2 of its size is way too small..

That's genious. I couldn't find any posts when I'd searched. I had to tell my router to let port 5800 through, and then another rule to let 5900 through. Just tested the connection and a buddy in Latvia was able to connect! Thanks -

Hi, So I'm trying to connect using the java viewer. My computer running vncserver is in my own network, so I've set up my router to forward the port 5800 to my intranetwork IP address.
