here is another thing you can try if the VNC servers closes your connection right after you type in the password. then it's most likely using the wrong connection settings for it's speed so just change it to Medium, or lower, then connect again. Don't use Auto, most times will fail in Auto. If ...

yes, simple
just uninstall the Mirror drivers for UltraVNC, and restart the VNC server.
then it will only connect to Desktop 1
then if you need access to Desktop 2
you just need to set it in Windoze Display Settings
and the VNC will automatically change to the other screen.
