Qt4 Port
Hi, I saw that you use Borland C++ as the programming environment at the moment. Qt has a much better portability and would not only Linux users use ultravnc, but also Mac OS X users and of course it would work in Windows as well. And it should be *much* easier to port to embedded systems as well ...

Not only the Java viewer, but also the many ported viewers and the compatibility between them is one of the great things about VNC.

Re: Linux VNC viewer, server & repeater development
Multiple repeaters: No
Connection IDs:No
Very simple. One package, one connection.
On the other side just start
"xtightvncviewer -listen"
works for me
(but slower than uvnc)

Re: Linux VNC viewer, server & repeater development
Okay,
I fixed my problem by using another VNC Software: TightVNC.
It works perfectly under Linux with a native Viewer.
You can make packages here:
http://www.vncscan.com/vs/download.htm
OneClickVNC that uses TightVNC (1.0.1.1)
It worked fine for me. No more disconnects, etc.

Request for Listening Mode (only working Linux client, SC)
Hi,
I would like to use the JavaViewer with SC under Linux.
There is no other working linux client. And the windows viewer has serios issues with WINE.
So: Could you support listening mode?
All other platforms could use SC then.
thanks
