Hallo,
I have customized helpdesk.txt using pchelpware, but it is ignored. In which folder I have to place helpdesk.txt? After creating the server EXE I'am promting directly for entering the id and password. A new helpdesk.txt is written into the folder server_res.
Any ideas would be fine, thanks

I set up the UltraVnc as described in documentation and it seams working well:
Helpdesk.txt ...

[DIRECT]

[HOST]
Verbindung
-connect name.dyndns.org:5500 -noregistry

The remote PC (client) gives the message 'connected', but the host PC doesn't react at all. What can be the reason ...

the error is still there. The [Host] setup in the helpdsk.txt is:
-plugin -id 12345 -connect name.dyndns.org::5500 -noregistry
As I'm using a NAT/Router this FQDN is also set at router. Do I have put the port 5900 into the router to let the viewer in contact with the router?

Hallo,
starting the UltraVncviewer and press the connect buttom, I get the error message 'failed to connect to server'. Plugin button is set and the computer name with 'name':5900
What can be wrong?

Hallo,
I d'not understand which IP adress I have to place in the helpdesk.txt file of the following section:
[HOST]
-plugin -connect 192.168.?????:5500 -noregistry
I'am using a standard NAT router with a small local network. a dynamic DNS is also installed at the router.
Does anybody can help me?
