I just tried Uvnc under Ubuntu distribution, it works fine with wine.
File transfer with SC works fine as well.

Well, I set up Dynamic DNS on the router, via DynDNS, but not much luck, connection is unstable, i.e. with some clients I can't make a connection. As far as I understand, on their pc or router there is no need for special configuration (except firewall, of course). Still, maybe forwarding VNC ports ...

I'm using UVNC-SC and it works excellent with users that have static IP addresses on their LAN.
