Re: How do I remove PChelpware??

Just reboot, that'll kill it. Then delete. And actually, it *is* possible to install the repeater as a service (though it's not terribly easy with PCH's repeater, you have to work at it). It's also possible to install the fast refresh video drivers, which *would* place themselves elsewhere in your ...

Re: How do I remove PChelpware??

There's no install program for PcHelpWare, so I doubt the developer ever thought an uninstall program was needed. Basically, your unzip program simply copies the files into a "PcHelpWare" directory on your computer. Nothing is installed into other directories, no modifications are made to the ...

Re: Feature Request for Next Version

I needed this in a corporate network, where the firewall/NAT allowed outbound connections only on tcp ports 80 and 443 and there is no local proxy. Tonyboni - If there's no proxy and only ports 80 and 443 are allowed out, then it sounds like folks can't even connect to the Internet from their local ...

Re: Feature Request for Next Version

Great product, I've been experimenting with it myself. I especially like the ability to spam it. Still, like any version 1.0 product, it could do more. Features would like to see immediately: -- Shell program for viewer and server that allows each to only need a repeater for setting up a connection ...

Re: HELP!! Steps on customizing the GUI of a server?

One other thing. If you don't like the looks of the GUI that linoter came up with, it can be modified, though it's not a quick mod. Using a button / graphics program, create your own background graphics window. Easier said than done, but while time consuming to make a nice looking one, it's not ...

Re: Viewer.exe UPnP Not Working Under Windows Server 20003 R

Good to know, but that doesn't help bevtech, as a 64 bit edition of Small Business server 2003 doesn't exist to my knowledge. Which means he's running 32 bit, which 7zip shouldn't have problems with.

Re: HELP!! Steps on customizing the GUI of a server?

See the sticky note "new gui - just something between SC and the new style one" by linoter. Currently PCHelpware's GUI is designed more to work with the repeater, by putting in a session number in the standard PCH login screen. If you instead want a GUI more like SC which lets you choose a tech or ...

Re: Viewer.exe UPnP Not Working Under Windows Server 20003 R

Server 2003 and pchelpware have major issues with each other..:( Mine will not work at all.. The developers now about it and will correct it when they have time. :( Interesting. I can get it to work as a viewer with my Winserv 2003 standard edition. It won't detect DirectX, but that's not a huge ...
