Re: RemoteZilla: Vista/Win7 VNC Helpdesk Remote Support Soft
Finally up and running – even on my Vista machine! What a grand improvement over OneClick (which was pretty good itself). One point of frustration I am running into, however, is I am not able to “add viewersâ€. I would like to do that so I can keep the initial login procedure a “One Click†a ...

Re: RemoteZilla: Vista and Windows 7 VNC Remote Support Soft
I have been having a similar problem with one of my local machines, a vista box. Seems mine is an encryption issue. The vista box can't handle encryption. Either as a viewer or a server, nor can it generate keys. I must have done something to it a while ago and will probably have to reinstall the OS ...

Re: OneClick - Vista SC w/Reboot & Reconnect & XP Sa
Kevin, If I close my viewer (or restart my computer), the client's computer shows the "Technician Selection" dialogue box. Is there a setting to make it automatically attempt to reconnect? I only want direct/automatic connections for each module. Should I delete all the files from the "Configs ...

Re: OneClick - Vista SC w/Reboot & Reconnect & XP Sa
Really like the new 2.0. Working well with multi-user Vista for the most part. One snag I keep bumping up against is that if my viewer in not ready or goes down when a client tries to connect, they receive the connect screen and it won't connect until they activate it. Am I missing something in the ...

Re: OneClick - Vista SC w/Reboot & Reconnect & XP Sa
I am having problems connecting to my in-house Vista test machine using an encrypted connection. "Error reading protocol version" Possible cause: you have forgotten to select a DSM... I am using encryption on all connections. In-house XP machines OK. Even had two remote Vista connections today. They ...

Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista
Not sure I follow you Kevin.
Are you talking about OneClick, SingleClick, or UVNC?
I use OneClick and find their instructions quite clear and the product easy to use for both me and my clients. Only wish it would run as a service in Vista, which as far as I know, nothing will - yet.

Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista
Hi Phil, I am also having connection issues with 1.8.7.1 while testing it on my local network from a Vista machine. Your efforts to add little extras, like the clock and toolbar are nice but……. I, for one, am more interested in being able to switch between users, reboot amd reconnect to multi use ...

Re: OneClick - SC Creator w/Safe Mode Reboot & Auto-Reco
Thanks Phil.
Tested again this morning with 8.5.5.5 and the delay does seem to be gone. Must have been using the old module. MY test machine lives here in the shop so I can check it from time to time to be sure.
1.8.5.5 does offer reboot in XP but I have not seen that in Vista yet.
Grrrreat job!

Re: OneClick - SC Creator w/Safe Mode Reboot & Auto-Reco
THANK YOU ADVANTIG for the new update.!
Anyone else having a delay problem?
About 5 – 10 seconds between the time you click on an item and the results show on your screen. Don’t think it happens with all clients all of the time.

Yes, I have.
It is hard to talk the owners through on the phone
Going to try next one from the Vista machine in the shop (had been using xp machines) to see if any better.

Re: OneClick - SC Creator w/Safe Mode Reboot & Auto-Reco
You bet. Great program. Can't beat it for XP in my book.
Just a little iffy with Vista (isn't everything). Some machines it works OK, others for a few minutes, still others.......
