Re: Release: SCBuilder 2009 (based on 1.0.5.3) Vista Compati
The OnLine compiled version shows a message at the viewer when someone wants to connect, but this version does not, I think this must be a bug because is very important for the technician know who wants to be viewed, specially if the server is published in a public web page!! Yes, just repeating ...

Re: Release: SCBuilder 2009 (based on 1.0.5.3) Vista Compati
My problem was that the viewer didn't automatically connect to the repeater. I used process explorer to check how it was started I found the viewer had been started in listen mode. The command line was: vncviewer.exe -dsmplugin MSRC4Plugin-122.dsm -listen 5900 which wont work as it doesn't have the ...

Re: Release: SCBuilder 2009 (based on 1.0.5.3) Vista Compati
I am running an internet based uvnc repeater in Mode 2 to get around firewall port forwarding/uPNP issues. Your builder appears to only support Mode 1 which requires the repeater to have access to the VNC Servers. To get Mode 2 working I used command lines to launch the viewer and server similar to ...

Re: Release: SCBuilder 2009 (based on 1.0.5.3) Vista Compati
NiTr0 I cannot thank you enough for this, this is really fantastic. I've been struggling along now with the old version of SC for a couple of years now, screaming with pain everytime someone rang me with a support problem on a windows vista computer. No doubt over the last few years there has been ...

Re: Viewer on the move?
Yes this is exactly my same dilema. If I'm not at my "base station" where everything is set up, and instead get "caught" elsewhere, it's currently impossible to let your clients use SC. I hate being behind other peoples NAT routers....esp in hotels etc. Please post back here if you find anything. I ...

Re: Is there a repeater I can use on my own website/webserve
Errr, well you see that's my problem really. I don't have a spare box to run on the internet: From my first post: I do not have any spare boxes that are connected to the Internet, and usually my work PC is switched off when I'm away from the office (by the cleaners!). Hence I was looking for a ...

Re: Is there a repeater I can use on my own website/webserve
Ok sorry for being stupid/repetitive but I HAVE searched for this:
Is there a webserver compatible ultravnc repeater? I don't have my own linux box, but I do have a linux/apache webserver that runs our website from a reputable webs host company.

Re: Is there a repeater I can use on my own website/webserve
Wow posted 1 sec apart. public repeater there are two My only problem with the public repeater is that it seems they are slightly unreliable? Re: Is there a repeater I can use on my own website/webserve
Just thinking out loud here.
If I purchased a linux shell (from some company on the internet) would that work as my extra box attached to the internet?

Is there a repeater I can use on my own website/webserver?
Hi guys, My eyes are bloodshot from all the reading I've done on here in the past 3 hours. So I think I'm going to have to keep this short! I regularly have to log into clients machines to fix things and have been using UltraSC and PHW to do this for a few years with great success. Recently I've ...
