Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista

Some, but not all, of my Vista clients are getting a "Critical files are missing" error when trying to run my OneClick. Any suggestions?

Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista

I've just installed v1.8.8.3 (clean install), and when I say "Yes" to "Do you want to use the same settings you used last time?" (after a succesful build) nothing seems to happen. Running Task Manager shows that Creator.exe is still running and using around 50% of the CPU. Any ideas?

Does the "1ctools" folder have to be placed in %TEMP%? I run CCleaner on most of my clients' computers and that wipes out everything in that folder.

Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista

I am having some difficulty setting up OneClick as a service. On the remote computer I still have to type my password before OneClick reconnects to the viewer. I have added the [DIRECT] tag to the helpdesk.txt file (does it matter where it is located in that file?) and saved it to the SC Source ...

Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista

--------- Changes --------- Version 1.8.7.8R --------------- - Some machines were too slow to display the Goodbye message before it was deleted. Recompiled it to slow down the uninstall process. It's a free download at: http://www.advantig.com/oneclick Seems to work great! What files are needed for ...

Now all works! Great! Now that it's all fixed... Version 1.8.7.3 --------------- - You no longer have to be logged onto the remote desktop to uninstall the software. Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista

I am also having connection issues with 1.8.7.1 while testing it on my local network from a Vista machine. I finally found a Vista machine it would have problems on using a Service mode module. Should have it fixed shortly now that I can duplicate it. Going to fix the wallpaper restore as well ...

Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista

However, in my LAN tests, the new module doesn't contact my support machine when run from a Vista machine. It works fine on XP. Older modules work fine...just tried it. Recheck the destination IP/DNS address & port. I did. I rebuilt it a few times to make sure. Like I said, it works on an XP ...

Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista

I was thinking (aside from my last post with problems), could the "Tools" drop-down be added to the right-click menu on the title of the timer? That would also make it possible to right-click the timer program on the taskbar to access it. I'm physically disabled and find that I sometimes click the ...

Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista

I did build it with 1.8.7.0. It doesn't look for Goodbye.vbs in v1.8.7.0, it looks for OneClick.vbs. Send me your customer module so I can do some testing. Apparently the module was partially running when I tried to build it with 1.8.7.0 and it couldn't be overwritten (no error from the builder ...

Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista

I'm still getting the 'Can not find script file "C:\Users\KEVINB~1\AppData\Local\Temp\Goodbye.vbs".' error on Vista machines. When I run it again, it finds the previous attempt, kills it, and then displays two goodbye windows. Any ideas? It's a v1.8.6.* customer module, rebuild the customer module ...

Re: OneClick - SC w/Safe Mode Reboot & Reconnect w/Vista

Version 1.8.6.8 Beta 2 - You now have the option of creating a Self-contained pre-populated technician viewer that needs no installation and no user input other than entering the ID code (as in the customer module). For those that need more flexibility, there is an Advanced button that will let you ...

Re: OneClick - SC Creator w/Safe Mode Reboot & Auto-Reco

"Stop Remote Support" causes my listener to crash (maybe because I'm using a beta?) unless I close the window fast enough. Can you add an option to add like a 5 second delay after clicking the "stop" icon before it actually stops? Also, I'd like to see the "stop" icon appear in the Start menu as ...

Re: OneClick - SC Creator w/Safe Mode Reboot & Auto-Reco

Has anyone heard from Advantig since their last post here? I paid for a OneClick registration a couple days ago via Paypal and have yet to receive my code. E-mails go unanswered and both of their sales numbers just ring & ring.

Anybody have any contact with them?

Thanks!
