Repeater shows only "About" and "Exit"
I downloaded the ultravnc repeater from here and ran it. The familiar icon came at the windows program bar near clock (I have Windows 7 - 32 bit). Right clicking the Icon pops up a menu with "About" and "Exit". Where are set up options etc for the repeater? The "About" pops up a window with version ...

What uvnc files do I need for server?
A few years back I used Single Click to create a "one-file-solution" for clients. When clients need assistance they ran pchelp.exe created ftom Single Click when instructed and I ran Ultravnc viewer on my side. This worked well. Now I am setting this solution to "multiple-file-solution". The pchelp ...

Re: DNS redirection
I am not sure what I should put in the columns.
Let say my page is www.mysite.com and I want DNS redirection to 123.456.789.123 where UltraVnc is listening.
What should I put in Localname? A star (*). What about Type, Priority and Value? I am not sure what these should contain.

DNS redirection
I've used dyndns for forward dns to UltraVnc or Pchelpware. I noticed that my webhotel provider has probably a similar feature. It has a "DNS Administration" tab where it has a table where I cab add values such as: Localname: Type Priority Value @ MX 10 Mail * A 10 195.nnn.nnn.nnn (nnn is a ...

Re: Stuck on "Negotiate protocol version" solved [
After testing all sorts of workaround I tried setting changing the port forwarding. I got a connection to 192.168.0.13 (computer "C") when I port forwarded 5600 to "C" instead of computer "B". I gave "B" port 5600. Now "B" won't work and "C" does. Is there something that some ports work and some don ...

I don't think that is the issue since UVNC and Pchelpware work fine without it. I tried it though - no luck.

How to have pchelpware server not quitting after viewer quit
I want to connect to my home pc. The home pc is running a repeater. When I want to control the computer from outside I have to call someone and have them push connect. Is there a way to do that remotely?
Now I have a program running that clicks the connect every few minutes. Is there a better way?

The main thing in getting pchelpware (if you want to have your own repeater or direct connection) going is having your router have the necessary ports open (5500 and 5901).
